Business Development of the Business Division
Our company has been developing energy businesses for more than 60 years, primarily in Indonesia and Japan.
From conventional fossil fuel operations to new energy initiatives aimed at achieving a decarbonized society, we have been supporting the stable supply of energy across a wide range of fields.
Oil and Gas Business
We handle crude oil, petroleum products, LNG and other related commodities, and have a track record of stable supply for more than 60 years. We will continue to develop our business with the aim of ensuring a stable supply going forward.
Crude oil and Petroleum products
We trade Bruneian crude oil and naphtha, as well as gasoline, LSWR (Low Sulfur Waxy Residue), and other products, and supply them to various Asian countries.
LNG (Liquefied Natural Gas)
Amid increasingly diversified energy demand, we play an important role in optimizing the supply and sales of LNG. Through our Singapore base, we contribute to the distribution of cleaner and more efficient energy.
Material Business
We swiftly and accurately respond to the increasingly diverse and sophisticated needs of related industries, leveraging our expertise and flexibility to drive business development. In collaboration with domestic and international partner companies, we handle lubricants, base oils, and various machinery-related materials.
Lubricating Oil
(Engine Oil)
As an authorized distributor, we import and sell high-quality lubricants—specifically engine oils manufactured by PT Pertamina Lubricants in Indonesia—for use in automobiles and motorcycles.
Naphthenic Base Oil
To meet global demand for lubricants, we export naphthenic base oils manufactured by Japanese producers, supported by a stable quality and supply framework.
Material for Machinery
We export technically reliable Japan-made equipment, parts, and component materials for plant facilities to companies within the Pertamina Group.
New and Renewable Energy Business
With a view to the global shift toward a decarbonized society, we are actively pursuing the commercialization of new energy and renewable energy businesses.
Mini Hydropower Plant
As part of renewable energy infrastructure development in Indonesia, we have constructed two mini hydropower plants (in South Bengkulu Regency and North Sulawesi) and are operating the related businesses.
Biomass, Biofuel and Bioethanol
We import Indonesian PKS (Palm Kernel Shells), wood pellets, and used cooking oil, and supply them to customers in Japan.
Electricity Trade, Solar Power and Storage Battery Development
Through our entry into the power business in Japan, we are developing and operating solar power generation and battery storage businesses.By optimizing the utilization of power generation and storage resources, we promote stable power supply and the widespread adoption of renewable energy, thereby contributing to the realization of a decarbonized society.
Ammonia (NH₃)
As a next-generation fuel for a decarbonized society, we have begun engaging with potential customers and Indonesian suppliers with the aim of commencing full-scale trading by 2030.
Future Growth Areas
We aim to contribute to a decarbonized society through hydrogen businesses, and the development of carbon solutions utilizing CCS (Carbon Dioxide Capture and Storage) and CCUS (Carbon Dioxide Capture, Utilization and Storage) technologies.
